Since emerging with his 2012 full-length debut, Vancouver based singer-songwriter Joshua Hyslop has accumulated over 270 Million streams worldwide and has carved out an impressive diehard fan base. "When I wrote this song I was just emerging from a pretty dark place," says Joshua about his new single "Faded Colours." "I'd been dealing with anxiety and depression for a long time on my own but the high's weren't quite as high anymore and the low's were getting lower. I was really nervous about trying medication but I started taking a mild anti-depressant and colour started to creep back into my life. Music followed quickly after and then this song arrived."
