"There was nothing wrong with being happy” The first release from I'mdifficult in 568 days, since their critically acclaimed EP, '25'. Inspired by the Mandopop songs that engulfed their childhood, 'Kids' pays homage to the extreme theatrics and dramatic performances from those same classic songs of love and heartbreak. Recorded live in the storied YuCheng Cinema Studio (in conjuction with Mega Films), I'mdifficult's use of instrumentation to aid in storytelling (including their first time collaborating with a string ensemble) creates an immersive experience for listeners and showcases a more mature and evolved sound from previous releases. With a brand new full length album slated to hit streaming services next year, be on the lookout for plenty more from this young quartet.
