Kid Creole is actually August Darnell Browder who used to be in Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band. In the early 1980's he formed The Coconuts with his wife, Adriana "Addy" Kaegi and Andy "Coati Mundi" Hernandez. They have maintained a loyal fan following for a couple of decades.
