To blues fans Paul Lamb should need no introduction, a virtuoso musician, Paul is the hottest harp on the block, packing them in across the UK and in Europe while collecting a bagful of awards for his efforts, including 6 years running "Best UK Harmonica Player" and four times winner of "Best UK Blues Album" (BBC Annual Awards). The band has been named "Best Blues Band" on five occasions and Paul himself has been named "Instrumentalist Of The Year". This really should be enough to make you sit up and take notice of this excellent new album from one of the true blues showmen. Striving for authenticity whilst still developing his own cry, Paul Lamb was recently inducted into the British Blues Awards Hall Of Fame (alongside the likes of Peter Green, John Mayall & Alexis Korner). 

Through a cycle of 30 years, working with some of the greatest musicians in the world, I’m On A Roll stands as Paul Lamb’s best recording to date. The session includes old stalwarts Chad Strentz on lead vocals, rhythm guitar and piano, Raul de Pedo Marinero on lead guitar and vocals, Rod Demick on upright bass and vocals, Sonny Below on drums and vocals and new kid on the block Ryan Lamb as guest guitarist. Also featured on I’m On A Roll are top session sax players, Nick Lunt on baritone and Lee Badau on tenor.
