First Of The Last To Know

The brand new release from Canadian recording artist Peter Katz, titled “First of the Last to Know,” sees Peter doing what he does best, crafting inspiring and intricate songs that grab hold of the listener and won’t let go. 2009 was a milestone year for Peter with numerous Canadian and European tour dates and several key support slots for notable acts such as Bedouin Soundclash, The Cat Empire and Tokyo Police Club, to name a few. The launch of this new album will build on the foundation created by the 2008 debut release, “More Nights”. A full tour is scheduled throughout Holland and full media and promotion support will be executed. As an added note of interest, Peter was recently commissioned by the International Camping Fellowship to write a song that is now being used as their theme song for selected Summer Camps worldwide. Inspired by his own experiences of camp life as a child, “The Camping Song” lead to further tours of Europe including a co-headlining tour with Lucky Fonz III in Holland and support tour for Nell Bryden in the U.K.. 2010 promises to be a breakthrough year for another great Canadian artist and his name is Peter Katz.
