　　On their 11th album, “Soliloquy,” Up, Bustle and Out have created an ambient mood with mellow latin funk through dubs and creative fusions.

　　Soliloquy Album

　　Part electronica, part jazz, part funk, “Soliloquy,” combines as many different influences as one can squeeze onto an album. With reggae rhythms and multi-lingual vocals, it sounds like Carribean jazz with a twist of Latin soul. Even if you can’t understand what they’re saying for most of the album, the music paints a picture of laid-back beach living, with singer and actress Sevval Sam’s alluring, haunting voice dominating most of the album’s 13 tracks.

　　UB&O is the product of DJ “Ein” Fell (also known as Clandestine Ein) and producer-performer Rupert Mould (also known as Sênor Rudy).

　　They’re based out of Bristol, England, and their lust for cultural music had led them around the world to places like South America, Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica, as well as big cities like New York and Tokyo.

　　They utilize the different styles from these cultures, as well as field sounds such as ocean waves, wind, animals, a steamboat and a carousel, all to put the listener in an environment outside the normal musical spectrum.
