You'll Never Sparkle In Hell

Ildfrosts third release "You'll never sparkle in hell" introduces a more metric structure, still avoiding the obvious, but focusing on a stern repetition. This is imperative to the lyrical backdrop of the album. "You'll never sparkle in hell" is sometimes harsh, but never unfriendly, its not up-beat but its not pitch black either. The music is hovering in shimmering layers like a heat haze above a freshly tarmacked road, suddenly strinking an uncommonly beautiful phantom chord when a heavily processed voice, timestretched and pitcshifted into a shape beyond human utterance, accidently makes contact with a low-end drone coming the other way. There are pounding beats meeting classical choirs, mystical voices in a clash with synth drones, beautiful string chords running with electrobeats. Its an assemblage of silent sounds, beautiful melodies and heavy beats  surrounded by beauty and artistery you will more feel than see. "You'll never....." has an atmosphere between a slaugtherhouse, a geaveyard and a gentlemens nigthclub. "You'll never spakle...." inhabits a dark edge: an interplay of darkness, ligth-source images and multipoint ambient sounds.
