Second Edition

PiL managed to avoid boundaries for the first four years of their existence, and Metal Box (issued in the U.S. as Second Edition) is undoubtedly the apex. It's a hallmark of uncompromising, challenging post-punk, hardly sounding like anything of the past, present, or future.

最近才真正搞清楚原因，这张其实只是《Metal Box》的第二个版本，最初的Metal Box版只发行了60000张就停了。然后过了冬季才发了这张Second Edition，有了标准的包装，并成了双LP形式。虽然最早的铁盒子包装后来再版也有弄过，但是最早的版本怕是已经被炒疯了，这不就是限量版吗...
