Equilibrium

The 49ers are a self produced Hip-Hop duo from Delaware. Equilibrium, their highly anticipated debut hit record stores and the internet April 27, 2007. The group formed after childhood friends Marchitect and Jas Mace left the Hip Hop collective "The Outfit" in 2000. They're credited with producing singles for the group that charted on the national college radio charts while they were at the time finishing High School. The Outfit disbanded but Marchitect and Jas Mace formed The 49ers, and kept the name fresh by performing with Hip-Hop's biggest names. While recording Equilibrium the 49ers toured and performed with Sean "P Diddy" Combs, Mary J Blige,Styles P Ice T,Common ,Jinn, and Lupe Fiasco. These performances led to ALLHIPHOP.COM featuring the groups single "The Belts" which received close to 1 million streams. The acceptance of the group among fans of the site led The 49ers to be a 2006 ALLHIPHOP WEEK breeding ground featured act. The group performed their natural blend of Hip Hop to a joyous New York City audience, proving that The 49ers are a not only masters of the stage, but a viable Hip-Hop brand. Whether it was crafting beats and rhymes together for their well received debut Equilibrum, or gathering the plethora of solo material that Jas Mace and Marchitect have ammassed the two have stuck together since they met at age 10. It reflects in Equilibrium, the cd that may very well bring the balance back to the music industry
