This song is about a story about a guy getting back his girl, apologising and tryna be the better one for her. Its definitely a personal experience, and its normal for someone to relate when they realised they screwed up, and they wanna get back their loved ones.

Song was recorded on a mellow beat at first, then later rearranged to a more upbeat style beat. The switch-up from a sadder to a happier beat presented a contrast in the delivery of melody, portraying that sometimes a sad song doesn't have to be really gloomy.
