Ingrid Andress曾组建了伯克利音乐学院无伴奏合唱团Pitch Slapped，2012年获评USA Today College“最佳A Cappella团体”，参加过NBC唱歌比赛《The Sing-Off》。Ingrid曾为Sam Hung和Alicia Keys写过歌，并参与了热单"Steady 1234"和Charli XCX "Boys"的创作。《滚石》称赞其创作的歌词“真诚而令人心碎”，《纽约时报》称其嗓音“稳定、平静而鲜活”。2019年Ingrid被《纳什维尔》评为“年度值得关注的19位乡村音乐新人”之一，现场唱功非常了得。
