Perth based Alt-Folk artist Riley Pearce releases his new EP "Maybe I Can Sleep it Off." "I went through a period a while back where I had fallen out of love with my songwriting, things just weren’t working and it was a real struggle and to be honest it felt like a chore at times," says Riley. "As a result I found myself getting distracted and not focusing on the right things, or being too hung up on trying to make things perfect and stalling. I had to have a bit of a meeting with myself and figure out what made me fall in love with being a musician in the first place and how to rekindle that relationship. This EP is a mix of both the early struggle but also the reassurance that I’m on the right track. In a way it’s me being both the counselor and the patient."
