Anna of the North个人资料
详情介绍
Norwegian singer / songwriter Anna Lotterud first emerged in 2014 whilst living in Melbourne and studying graphic design. Writing songs with New Zealander Brady Daniell – Smith , her debut track ‘Sway’ was well received in the blogosphere and it was a remix by Chainsmokers that created serious momentum – generating nearly 30 million streams. Signed by Different Recordings / [PIAS] in 2016, her debut album LOVERS received praise for its shimmering , ice cool Scandinavian pop. As her reputation grew, she collaborated with more and more artists including Tyler, the Creator (Anna lent her vocals to two tracks on ‘Flower Boy’ alongside Steve Lacy, Frank Ocean, and Rex Orange County) Reggie Snow, Honne and Snakehips amongst others. “Lovers” word-of-mouth success culminated in the title track taking off via a surprise sync in Netflix’s seminal smash hit ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’, though it’s a story that keeps evolving: ‘Lovers’ is still streaming over 100K times per day, nearly a year after the film's release, and made the top 100 charts in 171 countries. For her second album ‘ DREAM GIRL’ , she took to solo songwriting having split from Daniell-Smith, and generated a string of new successes, including the title track Dream Girl being picked up by Apple for a global campaign for the iPad, and ‘Playing Games’ being used on a hit Netflix show ‘ Never Have I Ever’.
