Vant的歌词很多都与政治有关，乐队的核心人物Mattie Vant解释说因为他关注的都是些全球性问题，像是战争，全球冲突和全球变暖等。Mattie还表示说他并不认同国界这一概念，他认为我们的身份首先是地球人（“I don't believe in borders, I was born on Planet Earth.”）
