Evolvent

Evolvent gathers five musicians : Sébastien Latour - keyboards Emma Elvaston - singer Clément Botz - guitars Ludovic Ossard - bass Frédéric Artale - drums Created in March 2004 by Sebastien Latour, Evolvent was originally a studio project. In 2008, the first album "Spiritual Confession" is released with the digital label Alien Production. The year 2010 is a turning point in the career of the group. Taking into account the requests of the fans, Sebastien composes a new album, "Delusion" (released in 2011), more designed to be played on stage but still keeping the dark ambiences from the previous album. The same year, Evolvent performs few concerts in Paris in stages as “La Scène Bastille and “l’Alhambra”. In the end of the year 2012, Evolvent welcomes Emma Elvaston as the new singer and records a new single “Under the Rain”. This new track is the proof of the band’s desire to evolve from a “doom” touch to a heavier one, always keeping its main feature: the piano. In Autumn 2013, Evolvent starts its first tour and plays in cities as Paris, Lyon, Metz, Nancy, Strasbourg and Dijon. With a dynamic and ambitious line-up, Evolvent releases an EP called "Human Instinct" in May 2014 and shows its desire to evolve to a more energic and symphonic music. The year 2015 will be the most promising year for Evolvent, which will this time have a freshly released album to defend through its first european tour.
