Fabrikate

Fabrikate are old souls at heart — two guys with similar tastes and interests digging into the past to uncover some long lost musical wisdom. Their devotion to this quest grants them tunnel vision and laser focus. Fabrikate work like madmen to create bumping sonic landscapes for their listeners to wander through. There are many plains to visit in their sound — some wholly new, multicolored, and others oddly familiar. Once upon a time (circa the 1970's), it was all about the music. Everyone was invited — inclusion was the only message worth spreading. Love was the question, and it was also the answer. In ”Made Me Feel”, Fabrikate take a trip back to the days of DISCO, an age they could only wish they were around to experience. The two members who comprise the duo have their own personal tie to the disco era and the forgotten magic it left with. They grew up listening to celestial funk throughout their childhoods in Montreal, an island with deep disco roots of its own. With their new work, Fabrikate take the spirit of disco and filter it through house music. Though disco has its place in the past, there's still plenty of room these days for some of the lessons it taught us. Especially the main one: shut up, listen to the music and dance!
