Jo Cohen

Gal Joseph Cohen (born December 26, 1989), known professionally as Jo. Cohen, is an Israeli pop songwriter and music producer. Gal was born in Israel and was raised in Jerusalem City. He attended Art Of Jazz High School at the age of 14 and after 3 years of service in the IDF as a K9 unit fighter he decaide to major in music production and build his own studio. Jo his very much at the beginning of his career but allready maneged to wrote song's and produce for artist's such as :Soshy,Skytek,John Dalhback,Romeo Blanco, Lost Frequencies,Bombs Away,Paul mayson,Adi Ulmansky,Nina den hartog as well as worked with label's such as: NCS, TRAP CITY,SONY MUSIC,UNIVERSAL,INTERSCOPE RECORDS,ULTRA PUBLISHING,CLOUD 9 PUBLISHING,ARMADA MUSIC,PANDA FUNK,SCANTRAXX and much more.. June 2016 gal wrote the winning song on american idol holland [Idol's] "Light's go out" preformd byNina den hartog. after a "Lights go out" that was also preformed live on holland radio station "RADIO 538" and took on the #1 spot in the itunes Dutch charts on the first few days of his release. Pop song's like "Run away" ,"Born to be a king" & "We are"& "Glowing at night", "Time Bomb" was also been quite successful they entered the playlist of israel biggest radio station "Galgalz" for months and swept millions of views and thousands of shares on Youtube & other social media platforms and got supported by great artist such as: The chainsmokers,Tiesto,Ummet Ozcan,50 cent,VINAI, Yves V, Juicy M, HIIO.
