Isabella Lovestory个人资料
Rodriguez grew up in Tegucigalpa, Honduras before moving to Burke, Virginia at the age of thirteen. Her mother, Wendy Rivera, is an architect and designed the house in which Isabella grew up in Honduras. Her father, Hector Rodriguez, was a radio show host back in Honduras, exposing Isabella and her younger brother Andrés to different kinds of music ranging from glamorous to grunge[1]. From a young age, Rodriguez was drawn to female pop icons and to the world of prestige these stars would embody. She participated in many talent shows in her youth. "When I was little, I wanted to be like Britney [Spears]. I was so obsessed." Growing up in Honduras, Rodriguez was also exposed to reggeaton, which remains one of the main influences in her work.
In 2010 Rodriguez and her family moved to Montreal, Canada, where she is still based today.
Isabella Lovestory started producing her own music in 2017 after dropping out from Concordia University, where she was studying visual arts. Her earlier musical work consisted of beats found on Youtube over which she would record her own voice. In 2018 she was approached by New York based producer Chicken, who had come across her work on Soundcloud. Their collaboration turned into a long-term association as Isabella Lovestory released her first EP, Humo, in 2019. The record was entirely produced by Chicken, who went on to produce Isabella Lovestory's second EP, Mariposa, in 2020.
