FalseGods, a technical thrash/melodic death metal band from northern China, released their debut full-length album *Embrace Eternal Suffering* in 2022. The album features ten tracks crafted over recent years and garnered widespread acclaim from metal enthusiasts and music media worldwide. It was selected for Sound Library's "Top 10 Most Beloved Albums of 2022." Centered around thrash metal, the album weaves aggressive and expansive guitar arrangements into a dark, frenetic soundscape. In 2023, they dropped the Warhammer 40K-themed single *Time For Heresy*, followed by a thirteen-city tour, *Abyss of Agony*, delivering unforgettable performances to thousands of fans. October saw their second Warhammer 40K-themed single, *Immolation*, accompanied by China's first live-action/AI hybrid music video. February 2024 brought the anti-war single *Dreadnought*, and the band became endorsing artists for Mooer Audio. By March, they were nominated for the MIDI Award's "Best New Artist." In July, they partnered with ROXTONE, MUSONTEK, and NUX, then released their seconde full-length album *Shadow Work: DongWan* and detective novel *DongWanSiYue* a mystery concept album co-created with renowned author Shi Chen. Featuring saxophonist Li Zenghui (The Fallacy/ex-Omnipotent Youth Society), the album launched a twelve-stop tour, *DongWanSiYue* which represents the fictional false gods in the novel, showcasing a dual-vocalist lineup and immersive live energy. March 2025 marked their third Warhammer 40K-themed single, *Astra (Never Shines Again)*, further cementing their innovative fusion of storytelling and metal intensity.
