An artist born in Chongqing in 1997, her art is like her personality; emotional and sensitive yet heartwarmingly passionate. Her music not only contains the nostalgic feelings of synth pop elements, but her life experiences around the world combined with her childhood life in the mountainous city of Chongqing, China. This allows Jungle Butterfly to tell her stories using Chongqing dialect rapping, harmonious English melodies and traditional ethnic styles of Chinese singing in combination with high energy, electro-pop beats and rhythm to narrate the protagonist’s life experiences. Jungle Butterfly’s music represents her; delicate yet powerful, unique yet familiar, sincere yet playful. There are no rules, labels or norms that are followed here, but it can be assured that everything is rooted in happiness.
