Reed Deming

hey, i'm reed. i'm 21, i love the cold, i'm a 3 on the enneagram, and i love music more than i love people. anyway, a lot's happened to me. i did a show called the x factor when i was 13. i kinda regretted it for awhile but i'm grateful that it got me started. i made a bunch of cheesy music when i was a kid (mainly cause i didn't get to write any of it) and sometimes i regret that too, but it also shows growth, which is important and encouraging. when i was 14 i got a laptop for christmas and i became fascinated with music production, to the point where i dropped out of school to pursue music full-time. i worked really hard and i got to do some cool tours with some cool people. then i got burned out, and that sucked. i stopped touring and basically jumped off the face of the earth for 3 years. i moved to new york. i got married, but sadly that didn't work out, and for awhile i was a super depressed (and divorced) kid. around that time i got invited to a church and my life started to get a lot better. when covid broke out i moved back to texas, and then i started working at a church and i love it. i still mess up a lot. i'm really emotional, even when i don't want to be. but i'm emotionally healthier than i've ever been. i don't hide anything about myself in my songs. i want people to know who i really am, cause i don't want to be known as anything else, just the real me. thankfully, music is perfect for that. my songs will explain themselves :)
