Lowbau

Formed around the end of 2005/the beginning of 2006 by Wolfgang Ebner. The band name comes from Lobau, a Vienna floodplain on the northern side of the Danube. According to Wolfgang, this choice was kind of an Austrian homage to the swamps and humid heat of the American Deep South. Wolfgang's father came up with the idea to add the 'w'.
