Now, in 2018, as a producer, writer, performer and creative director, Daniela’s voice is coming full circle, back to the DIY spirit that sparked her initial creations. On the single, “Genesis”, with her voice pitched up and down, Daniela captures both the inner turmoil and ultimate resolution that one feels in the seemingly basic task of allowing oneself to exist. In the accompanying video, she gives perspective to the process of building a blank slate on 16 mm film, against the backdrop of Mexico City.
