好像是指环王3评论音轨里提到过，这首歌是写给新西兰电影制作人Cameron Duncan的。他因为癌症英年早逝（17岁），制作团队用这首歌来纪念他，并且在他的葬礼上首演。
歌声响起，魔戒三部曲的所有人物素描浮现在银幕上，中土世界的奇妙景象向大家告别。原著里四个霍比特人原路返回，看到艾辛格被树须变成了大花园，洛斯洛林却更加悲伤...彼得杰克逊没有拍出这段，却让所有观众走了这段路，走到所有人心里去。
