再听还是很感动。当时Abigail和David把陈红林演唱的录音素材从峨眉山的安置学校带的他在汶川重建家园的父母面前时妈妈听着哭了，我们也哭了。开头的节奏取自建筑工地砍切砖块，搅拌水泥，运输材料手推车的咯吱声等声音。

2009年 Abigail Washburn 和 Shanghai Restoration Project 以08年Abigail震后志愿工作为素材联合创作了专辑《震后》，这第6曲来自灾区的陈红林同学和他妈妈李文秋所翻唱的《献给阿妈的歌》，人声自然而充满感情。面对待重建的家园，歌曲中朴实的吟唱让人难以忘记。
