And there is no place more peaceful when the pervasive arctic darkness is thrown like a great blanket on all of the slumbering world. Inaccessible by roads, the village of 300 people sits peacefully on the shoulder of Crow Mountain at the confluence of the Porcupine and Crow Rivers.
