这张专辑整体是用音乐诠释并展开电影《第七封印》的内容。布洛克是电影主角，念白最多的一首开场曲从布洛克结束十字军东征，回到瘟疫肆虐的故乡讲起。念白是表面的故事叙述，穿插的嘶吼是布洛克面对满目疮痍的家园时，表达内心产生对神性质疑的焦躁与不安情绪
恩，这一首歌念白部分是电影里玩世不恭的侍从琼斯，但语言却要概括电影整个起头（布洛克视角），因此必须刻意严肃，这个情绪确实很难把握。顺便说一句，这首歌里嘶吼与第二部分念白是布洛克视角，内外心境对比也是非常的绕。
