이루펀트가 전하는 그들만의 여행기 EP [여행의 기술]
힙합듀오 이루펀트가 2015년 정규앨범 'Man On The Moon' 이후 약 1년 10개월 만에 새로운 EP 앨범 '여행의 기술'을 들고 돌아왔다.
그동안 2016년 프랑스 칸에서 진행된 세계 음악 축제 '2016 MIDEM'과 미국 LA에서 열린 세계적 K-POP의 장 '2016 K-CON' 등에 초청 게스트로 참여하며 해외 활동으로 보폭을 넓혀온 이루펀트는 이번 '여행의 기술' EP를 통해 세계 각국을 돌며 느낀 그들만의 긍정적인 Vibe를 앨범 가득 담아냈다.
타이틀곡 '까미유'는 이루펀트 멤버들이 여행 당시 접한 미술 작품들에서 영감을 받아 만든 곡으로 사랑하는 사람을 갤러리의 아름다운 미술 작품들에 비유해 재치 있게 표현했으며, 힙합 씬의 히트 프로듀서 프라임보이(Primeboi)가 트랙을 쓰고 그 위에 색깔 있는 보이스와 지적인 매력으로 떠오르고 있는 여성 싱어송라이터 스텔라장이 피처링으로 목소리를 더해 완성도를 높였다.
여기에 선공개곡 'Newport'와 '생활 속으로'를 포함해 '여행의 기술', 'Tour Guide'까지 총 5곡을 수놓는 이루펀트만의 유려한 스토리텔링과 위트 있는 가사는 왜 이루펀트가 이 씬에 독보적인 존재로 불리는지 확인할 수 있을 것이다.
