Yum!Yum!ORANGE

The original lineup was seven members, with a different vocalist and a saxophone player. As a self-proclaimed "girl pop meets ska" band, Yum!Yum!ORANGE stepped into and redefined musical territory that had been first breached by the likes of the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. In 2000, the band released two demo tapes and played at small-scale lives, while slowly but surely gaining a positive reputation. In the following years Yum!Yum!ORANGE would work with bands such as B-DASH, 175R, SHAKALABBITS, and STANCE PUNKS in various compilations and events. Their first single, titled , was released in June of 2002, and , their first album, was released the following October.
