Birdy似乎是小资非常钟意的一位歌手，文艺小众高冷有品味有才华。翻唱The Fleet Foxes的名曲，偶还是喜欢原唱的那种宗教教堂般神圣的氛围。
说歌词诡异的看这里！我年少曾紧随着大流毫无主见。在忍受着社会沉重的枷锁中成长，冬日绕在脖子上的鲜红围巾成了唯一的依靠，支撑着我们弱小的头颅，以至于不会坠入雪中（迷失方向）。而现在的我有所觉悟，选择自己的道路而我的麦克啊，却选择堕落之路，最终染红了雪地。就像夏日的草莓一样红

印象里看到过这首歌的歌词的解析，是以前英国的人民暗指当时的玛丽皇后的血腥执政，砍了很多人的头以至于把雪地都染红了，但是又不敢明说怕被皇后报复，所以就有了这只童谣。有一种血红色的鸡尾酒就叫血腥玛丽，也是指的这个玛丽皇后。（我印象里是这样，如果说错了欢迎指正）
