State Of The Art-Gotye热门评论
这首歌灵感来源于Gotye的父母曾送给他一台二手Lowrey Cotillion电风琴（一种电子键盘乐器）。该款机型在1970年代非常流行，歌词亦模仿1970年代的商业广告风格，用浮夸的语气从头到脚夸了一圈这款电风琴的多项革新特色，并在讲到各款特定功能时，对应使用了该机型自带的音效。
小号和贝斯部分采样叶丽仪（Frances Yip）在1974年发表的《高山青》（The Green is the Mountain），也叫“阿里山的姑娘”。叶丽仪就是唱香港电视剧《上海滩》的那位。
