90年代瑞典舞曲天团“王牌”成名冠军单——欲求不满的雷鬼舞曲 1987年20岁的瑞典男孩Jonas Breggren成立一个三人男子乐团，1990年两名团员离去，Jonas让他的妹妹Jenny, Malin与朋友Ulf Ekberg加入，成为二男二女团体，并改名为“王牌”Ace Of Base。 1992年3月王牌推出首支单曲〔Wheel Of Fortune〕由丹麦独立厂牌Mega Records发行。此曲发行三次才在9月登上丹麦亚军，打开北欧知名度。 同年10月推出第二首主打〔All That She Wants〕由Jonas与Ulf合写，Jenny, Lynn也添上一些歌词。起初在编曲时他们遇到了无处寻找合适乐器音色的难题，于是通过听其他歌手的作品来获得灵感。在听到瑞典歌手Kayo热门单曲“Another Mother”后，乐队终于找到了他们要的鼓点。这种复兴了80年代早期New wave中听起来很笨拙的合成器，将其融入摇摆的雷鬼节拍，并配有令人过耳不忘的hook，带有Dub-Reggae风味的Euro-dance舞曲从此成为此乐队的独特风格。 歌词上则描述了一个性滥*的女人，“baby”并不是指孩子，而是与“boyfriend/male partner"同义，这位“maneater”在与不同男性的一夜*后得到满足，有种女性不受拘束 自由追求*满足的意味，在当时90年代初算是很大胆的(当然跟同期麦当娜的宝书相比还是小巫见大巫)，文字内容也与编曲呈现出的“黑暗”感不谋而合。 1992年发行后大受欢迎，拿下丹麦冠军。Mega Records为了赶圣诞购物狂潮，要求乐队赶紧录制一张专辑，四名团员便在短短几周中，赶出首张大碟〔Happy Nation〕，专辑整体也以牙买加雷鬼节拍+欧陆舞曲的风格为特色。由于在丹麦热卖，引起国际公司宝丽金的注意 。 〔All That She Wants〕先在北欧各国发行，拿下故乡瑞典＆挪威亚军。1993年在欧洲各国陆续推出，更是大卖，登上英国双周冠军(白金/60+万张/年终＃3)、德国七周冠军(白金)、意大利＆西班牙＆瑞士＃3、奥地利＆比利时＆希腊冠军、法国＆爱尔兰亚军，全欧大卖2百多万张，让王牌成为当红乐团。 这时他们成功引起美国兴趣被Arista唱片签下，9月在美国发行本曲。虽然销售榜得到多周冠军，但因为电台播放些微差距，被天
