1)1968年11月 将届28岁美国黑人流行巨星Dionne Warwick发行第11张录音室大碟[Promises, Promises] 主要由Burt Bacharach, Hal David创作+全权制作,乐评颇佳。首支主打[Who Is Gonna Love Me]打入Billboard单曲榜＃33，第二同名主打登上单曲榜＃19，1969年初推出第三主打[This Girls in Love with You]

2）这是恩师Burt Bacharach, Hal David的作品，原本创作完后, Dionne 先录了试唱带(Demo), 但没灌成正式版发行。后来美国喇叭演奏艺人Herb Alpert也灌录此曲, 歌名主词改为[This Guys in Love with You]在1968年4月出版, 成为第一个正式版，登上Billboard单曲榜冠军。

3）Dionne版是首流行/Easy Listening风格的抒情曲，她以温婉的方式演绎, 柔美动人。登上Billboard单曲榜＃7，成为Dionne第六首Top畅销曲，副榜──灵魂榜＃7 Easy Listening榜亚军；加拿大＃17 澳洲＃17。 在三首Top40热门单曲的促销下, [Promises, Promises]登上美国Billboard专辑榜＃18(灵魂榜＃7)。
