Cher

Cher is the eighteenth studio album by American singer-actress Cher, released on November 10, 1987 by Geffen Records. The album has been certified Platinum in the US by the RIAA and Gold in Australia by ARIA and the UK by BPI.

80年代中期　美国歌手Cher成功在影坛成为票房巨星，87年11月 她发行睽违五年半的专辑Cher，首支主打［I Found Someone］登上美国榜＃10、英国榜＃5；第二主打［We All Sleep Alone］登上美国单曲榜＃14，促进专辑登上美国榜＃32，卖出百万白金唱片，英国榜＃26 拿到金唱片。

在一系列流行音乐和迪斯科唱片之后，Cher转向了适合广播的摇滚取向，这帮助她重新回到了热门排行榜上。专辑邀来Michael Bolton、Jon Bon Jovi、Richie Sambora和 Desmond Child制作。也是她第三张以本名命名的专辑，之前两次是1966年的《Chér》，以及1971年的改名前的《Gypsys,Tramps and Thieves》。
