列侬这首歌是在讽刺社会对女人的压迫，用nigger形容被压迫的人(也许这次不合适，但得到了很多黑人的支持)。世界妇女组织因为这首歌带的强烈女权主义给列侬跟洋子颁了奖。很惊讶那个年代就能用这种想法，毕竟，现在能讽刺的如此露骨的也不多。仅科普给不仔细看歌词不自己听就下结论，并且还下的不对的人
因黑人被歧视在那个年代已经被承认被正视被众所周知了，而女人被歧视这件事到了现在依然不被多数人承认。列侬用nigger这个词是想指出人们对女人之歧视不亚于对黑人之歧视。
一手反讽的歌，这首歌当时被批评得很厉害，现在也算是烟消云散了，约翰列侬在那个时候被无意的也好恶意的也好误解了太多。
列侬是要自由表达的，他怎么会在意凡夫俗子的看法，列侬自help!之后的音乐都是在传达自己的态度，而不是顺应某种声音或者大众，这首也一样
