Kurt后面的女友是托比·韦尔 (Tobi Vail)，一位出名的DIY朋克杂志作者以及Riot Grrrl乐队“比基尼杀戮”（Bikini Kill)的鼓手。因为Kurt对Tobi感到过度的痴情而完全被焦虑压倒，第一次见面后，他呕吐了。此事件激发了歌词："Love you so much, it makes me sick."（爱你那么多，让我感觉恶心）。

《Aneurysm》这首发自内心的咆哮灵感来自科本的前女友，比基尼杀手乐队成员Tobi Vail。科本在创作这首歌的时候，想起了他和Tobi第一次约会的情景。这首歌最开始是作为单曲《Smells Like Teen Spirit》的B面歌曲，后来又作为《Incesticide》特别版的一首附送歌曲发布。现场版的这首歌则作为了专辑
