我来给大家科普吧，听悲伤的一首歌。这首歌普遍被认为是一首强有力的反战歌曲。歌曲的背景很有可能是1795年到1818年间爆发在斯里兰卡的坎迪安战争（英国殖民政府vs斯里兰卡当地政权）。
