她已成了别人的妻子，而我带着我的骄傲活过这多年。
我不仅在周六晚上听了好几版的saturday night 还听了好几版的sunday moring 最后发现我就是闲的[大哭]
所以回到这句歌词，显然不能简单地翻译为将舞伴从我身边夺走--虽然这样也挺有意味。而应该是，someone（可能是歌词里主人公爱着的人）教会了主人公将dance（指爱情）和dancer（指爱人）二者区分开，这就与那句著名的诗“我爱你，与你无关”有异曲同工之妙。
有一句歌词翻译值得深究，也是整首歌词中最重要的一句：Someone show me how to tell the dancer from the dance. 其实这句歌词应该是引用了Yeats的Among School Children这首诗里的一句//O body swayed to music, O brightening glance //How can we know the dancer from the dance?
一个星期，有两个星期六晚上，一个叫Suede一个叫Eagles
叶芝在诗的最后一节提出这样一个问题：树的本质是在它的叶子，它的花朵，还是它的树干?它有哪个部分比其他部分更“树”吗?不，它是各部分的总和。同样，我们不能“区分舞者和舞蹈”，当跳舞时，舞者和他们创造的动作是一体的。
