看到BobDylan获奖，我想到了Dan Van Ronk《醉乡民谣》主角的原型，是他给鲍勃迪伦带上道的。但跟Dylan不同，他在城市四处碰壁受挫，一直未能大红大紫，可以说他经历了那个艳阳高照年代的所有雨天。

如果一首歌 既不是新歌 也不会过时 那就是民谣
一个时代没有多少个Bob Dylan,其实更多的是像Dave一样被时代的浪潮淹没的人。我想起电影里唱片公司老板一脸享受地听完Davis的歌，却只说了句“I don't see a lot of money here”,啧，多惨，歌是好歌可我不能从中看到商业价值。
看完《醉乡民谣》，然后了解了解20世纪60年代的美国民谣发展，再回来听这首歌，心理很有触动！走了一圈还是回到原点，但是心不一样了，这就是生活。
似乎是Davis原型的原唱……

最初的版本叫《I've Been All Around This World》，1937年由Alan Lomax和Elizabeth Lomax在肯塔基州的Hazard录制，演唱者是Justis Begley。它关于一名在19世纪70年代被绞死的犯人。
