老泰温幼时，父亲“笑狮”把家族威望败得一塌糊涂。“红狮”雷耶斯为首的两大家族分庭抗礼。“九铜板王之战”后刚成年的泰温，先礼后兵，讨伐逆臣。“红狮”救援不成，负伤回城据守后，追击的泰温下令带兵把河水倒灌入卡斯特梅城，将雷耶斯家举家老小尽数淹死。这首歌正是游吟诗人歌颂泰温所写。
