[00:10.49]At the same time, urban artists begin to learn a lot from traditional art. [00:16.02]For example, African masks and figures had a great influence on Picasso's works. [00:22.18]And many American and Canadian artists studied the simplicity of Japanese painting. [00:28.17]The result is [00:29.35]that as the world gets smaller, [00:31.76]the art of each culture becomes more international. [00:35.14]OK. This brings us to the end of our lecture. [00:38.56]I hope that after today's lecture, [00:40.61]you'll understand better the significance of a study of art history. [00:44.52]Art enables us to know more about human history. [00:48.25]For example, people's views and opinions about certain historical events, [00:53.37]and what's more important, about different cultures, [00:56.93]their religious beliefs, perception of art etc.
