虽然这张专辑没有一首歌收录到她后来的正式精选集中。但这张专辑在她的音乐生涯中 始终都是无比重要的一个环节
熊光采访有说过，她当时不是为了进军美国市场，只是想当个小歌手做个实验性的专辑，结果被各种宣传，她也很无奈啊。她从来都不是一个不甘于只在日本红的流行歌手，她只是一个不甘于自己的音乐止步不前的音乐家[可爱]
这首歌使用了十分具有阿拉伯风格的gijak，有种摩西出埃及时的史诗感，歌词中的“the waves have parted”也分明是在致敬分开红海时的神迹。副歌部分的钢琴声、和声与其他乐器的搭配对我来说完全是天衣无缝。而歌词中所谈的离开家后开始闯荡、自己开始为自己的一切负责，相信是离家后的人都会有的共鸣。
首先这张专辑实在很棒，可我至今不明白为什么对她如此重要的专辑要选这张黄脸婆照片做封面。其他都比这个强吧。
这时候还很年轻吧，怎么会是黄脸婆？
这封面让我想起我小学时代那个城乡结合部的理发店里贴的海报女郎[大哭]
标题Exodus 就是出埃及记之意[呲牙]
2005年坐上火车去往另一个陌生城市上大学的我，这首歌loop了一整夜，无眠。
熊光发这张4专的时候，已经不是个小歌手了……99年1专狂销765w，1单狂销200w+，此后2专年销400w+，3专年销300w+，在日本唱片末期的几年间出道并卖出将近两千万张碟可不是什么小歌手能做到的。实验性专辑是真，只不过她当时作为日本最畅销的歌手，一做点什么乐坛就过反应很正常。
实验专辑 简直惊艳。不同于流行曲的套路式踩点旋律，光的曲子的自由度非常高，这就是最牛逼的地方。
