这首歌是在新冠疫情期间创作的。你莎说自己去超市看到小朋友会希望现在的自己是八岁的小天真~知道一件事很糟糕但又不理解他们有多坏，小朋友也是被保护的对象。这首歌是关于失去童真的，希望这个世界可以有所改变，我们可以如孩童般无忧无虑。
sasha真的好擅长用最温柔的语气揭露最现实的自己，让我能一次又一次从她的歌里获得认同感，而且她的每一首歌都真情实感，从不敷衍
我曾无忧无虑，没有任何杂多的念头引我痛伤，多希望我一直如此。尽管年岁在增长 我学会了乐观向上，但 现实会不时予我重击。
《Santa’s Real》的创作经历了一次“转向”：它原本是想讽刺那些愤世嫉俗、对什么都没兴趣的人，但疫情的爆发让 Sloan改变了想法。她回想起“911”事件发生时还在读小学一年级的自己，这首歌的主题最后也便成了“我有时希望自己还是个孩子，这样就不用去考虑周围究竟有多糟糕了。”
听这首歌，想到很喜欢的一句话 “我们的眼睛里，除了平视和仰视，更应该经常俯视，俯视疾病和痛苦，俯视角落和狭缝。”
眼泪忍不住了…儿童的童真相信一切美好的事物，在这首歌里听到了第一次相信被打破的不可置信和难过。现实有时候很黑暗，自己有时候也很麻木，但不该是这样的。要相信美好，要做出一点努力啊
