Bob Thiele 和George David Weiss创作，初由Louis Armstrong 于1967年作为单曲录制并发行，不过当时在美国并未大红大紫，直到1987年反战影片《早安，越南》中使用了这首歌作为插曲，让这首歌在推出20年后走红全球，1999年Armstrong版本的录音被收入进格莱美名人堂。
