u2中极少见但是极其好听的歌，抒情的叫人动容，伟大的U2！
正在看《致命的海滩》，读到这首民谣，讲的是塔斯马尼亚在殖民时期叫做范迪门斯地，意在规劝英格兰的人不要犯罪，以免遭到流放的命运，对应的另一首叫The wild colonial boy，是反流放制度的，有兴趣的童鞋可以听听

John Boyle O’Reilly 爱尔兰诗人，爱尔兰兄弟会积极分子，在招募新兵过程中被人告发，被英国法庭判二十年苦役，1868年，John搭乘英国遣送罪犯到澳大利亚的最后一艘帆船Hougoumont号，被流放到澳大利亚的Tasmania（即Van Diemen's Land ）
