好想在自己的葬礼上放：
芥川奖得主新井满用弗莱的译诗「化为千风」来纪念英年早逝的儿时玩伴，并取诗中第三行「I am a thousand winds that blow」的意思，把诗命名为「千の风になって」，再谱上歌曲及唱出。这首诗和歌曲，抚慰了无数重度忧伤的心灵，因此日本传媒将此诗喻为「死与再生之诗」重新点燃热爱生命的希望曙光。
