1962年9月 黑人青年Meredith成为第一个进入密西西比大学的黑人学生 引起白人种族主义者的愤怒 动用强大警力阻挡他去学校……肯尼迪动用两万名部队护卫他他才得以去上学……Dylan写了这首歌记这件事………
Dylan在那次权利法案晚宴上还含糊地说了这么句话：“我花了好长时间去成为一个年轻人，但现在我认为我很年轻，并为此骄傲。”这是Dylan黄金时代的第一张专辑，尽管其中的Oxford Town还是老式的民谣体事件报道，
鲍勃同志政治正确，催促当局保护小黑。
60年代的歌，唱的完全就是现在的事，但是听着就跟古代的歌似的，时代变化太快了，快到美国人都忘记了什么是最好的武器了，已经被消费主义缴了械了。
