[00:00.00]I see from your resume that you graduated about four years ago and after that let me see. [00:07.06]I got a job with the Department of Employment. [00:10.21]It was only a temporary thing for about five months. [00:13.76]I was a researcher in the department. [00:16.36]We design a survey, go out to the factories and ask all the questions to the workers and the management, [00:23.40]then go back to the office, analyze all the data and produce a report. [00:28.23]It was quite interesting and I guess the psychology course at college helped me a lot. [00:34.74]And after that you worked for three years in an advertising agency. [00:39.52]That must have been a bit of change from the Department of Employment, wasn't it? [00:44.40]Well, not really. I suppose the office furnishings were a bit more sophisticated but the work was quite similar. [00:52.30]I was basically still doing the same thing: [00:55.60]designing questionnaires, going out, asking questions and writing reports. [01:00.98]The only difference was that this time I wasn't asking people about their work. [01:06.22]I was asking them what kind of shampoo they'd bought [01:09.85]and if they preferred brand X to brand Y. [01:12.81]Then I'd make up a report and the agency would use the information in their advertising campaigns. [01:19.28]I enjoyed my work a lot.
