源自Gospel blues传统，亦名“Jesus Make Up My Dying Bed”，歌词反复句取意《Book of Psalms》41:3。最早广为流传的版本由Blind Willie Johnson录制，随后Bob Dylan等人亦有演绎。 Led Zeppelin版本曲长逾十一分钟，是乐队录音室作品中篇幅最长者。录制以现场合奏为基础，后补录滑棒吉他。 吉他采用开放A调弦，滑音演奏贯穿全曲；贝斯为无品设计，音高游移，快段落中频繁转换走向；鼓声加入明显混响处理。 结构由鼓组推动，多次急停与重启，段落在缓慢拖曳与急速推进之间切换。尾声保留录音现场的咳嗽与对话。
